Well hello there! I’m Courtney, and this is my site:

Wayferer- (n) someone who travels, especially on foot
I have a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology,
a bachelor’s degree in Communication Science and Disorders
& two minors: English Literature and Human Development/Family Studies
(aka I’m in mass amounts of loan debt)
I live outside Philadelphia with my boyfriend, Sam, and our German Shepherd, Rue

I love writing. Using letters and combining them to create words that can flow together to form a story that can tell a reader about anything and everything, is just beautiful to me. In high school, I flourished under my late freshman English teacher. She molded me with her encouragement and criticism. In my junior year of college, I dropped all my core classes (to my parents’ dismay) and submerged myself in all English literature and Creative Writing courses. I truly found myself that semester.
Besides writing, I enjoy photography. I enjoy capturing moments in time. I love candids and people when they are vulnerable. I have a photography page and do some business with it (Facebook.com/CourtneyRasPhotography)
I also enjoy all things outdoors. Hiking is my hobby. Nature is my therapist.
I am extremely optimistic, loyal, and truly passionate towards inner beauty.
I’m also a very sarcastic person. I love making people laugh.
