With the new year, I decided to do things I would otherwise put aside “till later” or “until I had enough time.” I thought to myself, how often do I decide not to do something because of an excuse I concoct.
I had some old acrylic paints and recently came upon some canvas. I decided why put off something that I use to love doing. I use to draw and use pastels all the time, now I make excuses to not use my creativity to its fullest. So today when I woke up I had a blank canvas and a a life to enjoy. I decided that my favorite colors could create an ocean affect and my love for anything nautical sparked these two creations. I call it “the hope of the courageous”
